QuoData was delighted to attend the 13^th EURACHEM workshop on measurement uncertainty from sampling and analysis to be held from 19th – 20th November.

QuoData continuously develops and improves concepts for quality assurance and contributes to the Eurachem community showcasing novel ideas and tools at scientific meetings.

This time QuoData presented several approaches and tools developed for the determination of measurement uncertainty. During the workshop QuoData experts including QuoData's CEO, PD Dr. habil Steffen Uhlig, gave three oral presentations:

• “Measurement uncertainty in the case of large and heterogeneous variances: A new method for the calculation of asymmetric uncertainty intervals”
• “Webtool for taking measurement uncertainty into account in the implementation of the Federal Soil Protection and Contaminated Sites Ordinance”
• “How to address matrix mismatch bias in the uncertainty budget”
