QuoData - We Let Your Data Speak
From 22-24 February in Berlin, QuoData will offer an international Workshop on the planning and evaluation of proficiency tests and method validation studies.
The new location in Berlin makes it easier for PT providers and the growing PROLab community worldwide to attend the workshop. All participants can still expect the well-known QuoData workshop atmosphere.
All 2016/2017 dates for QuoData’s roster of workshops have been finalized. What's new this year is the addition of a brand new workshop. It will focus on method validation from an expert’s point-of-view.
QuoData will be in Ghent, Belgium from May 9th to 10th for the EURACHEM Method Validation – Current Practices and Future Challenges Workshop to present a joint research project carried out by QuoData on behalf of the German Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL). The presentation will showcase the unique use of a factorial design for an in-house method validation study.
QuoData and the Austrian Society for Quality Assurance and Standardization of Medical and Diagnostic Examinations (ÖQUASTA) officially signed a long-term cooperation agreement during a two-day meeting in Dresden on 20 April 2016. The agreement outlined a project to develop a new tailor-made software tool for ÖQUASTA’s EQA programmes.
Last week from April 13th to 15th in Dresden, Germany, the Final Meeting of the Proficiency Test (PT) on Forensic Determination of Shooting Distance (FDSD) of 2015 took place at the head office of QuoData.
The registration phase for the international ENFSI proficiency test on the identification of gunshot residues (GSR) using scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy has closed. This year has seen nearly 60 laboratories from 29 different countries take part. In the coming weeks, the samples will be prepared and shipped.
The dates for QuoData’s 2016 workshops are now available. As in every year, the workshops focus on proficiency testing and method validation. Our presenters have been actively involved in standardization processes at ISO regarding PT and method validation for years. Participants thus receive insights into the latest requirements outlined in the most common standards for the planning and evaluation of such studies and realize these requirements by working with QuoData’s software solution, PROLab and InterVAL.
In conjunction with Dan Tholen (contributor to the revised ISO 13528:2015 and a liaison for ILAC), and AIHA PAT (AIHA Proficiency Analytical Testing Programs), QuoData’s first workshop on the revised ISO 13528: 2015 has come successfully to a close.
August 2015 saw the release of ISO 13528:2015, which included a major overhaul in the statistical methods used in proficiency testing. In line with this, QuoData, Dan Tholen (convener, independent assessor and ILAC Liaison) and the AIHA Proficiency Analytical Testing (PAT) Program, will jointly hold a workshop to educate those involved in PT on the changes.
