QuoData at the InnovationForum Kunststofftechnik 2026
On April 21, 2026, QuoData will participate in the Innovation Forum Plastics Technology in Villingen-Schwenningen. The event is organized by the Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid in cooperation with Technology Mountains e.V. and the IHK Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg.
The forum focuses on key innovation drivers in plastics technology, including artificial intelligence, hybrid technologies, advanced injection molding processes, automation, and new regulatory requirements. A diverse program of expert presentations from industry and research offers insights into strategic and technological developments along the entire value chain—from market development strategies and collaborative business models to innovative approaches such as controlled viscosity management, functional plastic-metal combinations, integrated electronics encapsulation, and AI-driven process and material modeling.
QuoData will contribute with a technical presentation by Karina Hettwer titled “Data-driven Polymers: AI-supported formulation screening and property prediction for plastics containing recyclates.” The presentation introduces a data-driven approach for evaluating and predicting material properties, addressing challenges such as the high variability of recyclates and the limited predictability of complex material blends. QuoData will present methods for modeling and quantifying uncertainties using AI-based predictions.
In addition, QuoData will showcase its contribution to the KIOptiPack project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the “AI Application Hub for Plastic Packaging – Sustainable Circular Economy through Artificial Intelligence.” The project aims to develop sustainable solutions for optimizing plastic packaging using AI methods. Opportunities for participation in upcoming pilot projects will also be presented.
