The "biosaxony vor Ort – AI for SMEs" event held on March 14, 2024, at the QuoData headquarters, was a resounding success. Filled with vibrant energy from enthusiastic participants and insights shared by esteemed speakers, it was an enriching experience.
The event kicked off with a brief opening by Conny Lerche, followed by Anja Rösler's introduction to biosaxony and its current initiatives. Continuing the program, QuoData’s Senior Data Scientist, Kapil Nichani, delved into "Embracing AI: Transforming measurement data into insights and actions".

SmartGrape - AI-based MIR measuring system for determining quality in viticulture With the „SmartGrape“ project, QuoData and the partner institutes aim to analyze the quality determining characteristics of grapes by combining a miniaturized infrared spectrometer with an artificial intelligence (AI) approach.- "Estrogenic Effects" is the first EQA scheme in the new QuoData external quality assurance program for in vitro methods for effect-based analysis.

The new ISO/IEC 17025:2017 extends requirements for private or public testing laboratories in the field of food microbiology as well as the users of quantitative microbiological test methods with regard to analytical quality assurance. The workshops give participants an opportunity to dive deeper into different topics regarding the latest developments in international standardization, as well as to get to know the advanced approaches of QuoData.

From 17th to 18th October, QuoData will visit Ljubljana, Slovenia to attend the EQALM symposium – a meetup of European external quality assurance organizers in laboratory medicine.
During the symposium QuoData scientist Kapil Nichani will introduce how artificial intelligence can be utilized in PT for prognosis of future laboratory performance. A novel easy-to-interpret score developed for qualitative PT/EQA data will also be presented.
