Data Scientists of QuoData carry out workshop at US NIST

Besides its annual workshops, QuoData also offers individual training. These seminars can be conducted on the customer’s premises. Thus QuoData scientists can contribute tailored statistical expertise in the field of analytical quality assurance.

From 6-8 February 2018 two Data Scientists of QuoData provided the second in-house training at US NIST in Gaithersburg, USA. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is one of the most renowned metrology institutes worldwide and provides proficiency tests on physical and chemical measurements in the US. NIST has been a user of QuoData software and services since 2014 and utilizes the software solution PROLab, for planning and evaluating proficiency tests as well as the QuoData online data-entry platform for proficiency test participants.

The training focused on the planning and evaluation of proficiency tests with PROLab. The participants learned about statistical methods included in ISO 13528 and applied them to real-life examples. Another key aspect of the in-house training was the evaluation of homogeneity data, and the utilization of QuoData’s online platform for proficiency test participants.

A QuoData in-house training can be tailored according to your needs, contact QuoData if you want to learn more.
