Validation, verification and determination of measurement uncertainty for Microbiologists -a QuoData webinar series providing expert knowledge for analytical quality assurance.

In recent years, a number of norms and standards have been developed to define approaches and procedures for quality assurance of microbiological test methods.

The highly relevant series of standards ISO 16140 and ISO 19036, are intricately examined  in a comprehensive webinar series curated by QuoData, specifically tailered for laboratories in the field of food microbiology.

The QuoData team is constantly working to improve QuoData software products such as PROLab, InterVAL and GUMsim and adapt them to the needs of users.

The latest PROLab update offers improvements for all users of the tool for planning and evaluating interlaboratory studies.

The new ISO/IEC 17025:2017 extends requirements for private or public testing laboratories in the field of food microbiology as well as the users of quantitative microbiological test methods with regard to analytical quality assurance. In response to this situation, QuoData has designed a workshop specifically for quality assurance of microbiological methods.

In order to ensure the highest level of health protection for all EU citizens, an EU funded Joint Action for health security has been launched. Entitled Joint Action SHARP (Strengthened International Health Regulations and Preparedness in the EU), the project is coordinated by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), Finland, and co-coordinated by the Robert Koch-Institut (RKI), Germany.

On Friday, January 24th 2020, QuoData invited the Drupal Community at its Dresden premises as part of Drupal Global Contribution Weekend 2020. Visitors were warmly welcomed with complimentary snacks and drinks, further livening up the mood.

This Drupal All-day event was filled with energy and enthusiasm. By joining the event participants had the opportunity to gain knowledge from their peers, whilst sharing their own skills, allowing everyone to contribute to Drupal.

One of the world’s largest trade fair for healthcare and medicine takes place from 27th to 30th January at the Dubai World Trade Centre. As an exhibitor of the official joint stand “Saxon Pavilion”, QuoData will be attending the fair.
