QuoData Participates in RAFA 2024 Symposium on Food Analysis
QuoData is excited to participate in the upcoming RAFA 2024, the 11th International Symposium on Recent Advances in Food Analysis, held in Prague from November 5th to 8th. This event will bring together experts in the field of food science to discuss the latest trends in analytical and bioanalytical strategies for food quality and food safety, alongside challenges and novel approaches in food and natural product analysis.
During the symposium, QuoData will give a presentation and showcase a research poster on a effect-based bioassay for detecting thyroidal activity in food and food contact materials.
This innovative approach responds to the growing need for efficient screening techniques to identify endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) that can impact the human thyroid receptor β (hTRβ).
QuoData's team supported the development of the bioassay using an advanced S. cerevisiae yeast biosensor with a fluorescence reporter, capable of detecting hTRβ activation in both multiwell plates and on TLC/HPTLC plates.
QuoData looks forward to interacting with fellow experts, sharing ideas, and enjoying the satellite workshops, interactive vendor seminars, and social gatherings at RAFA. To stay updated with QuoData, visit QuoData’s new section: https://quodata.de/en/news
