Web Services - QuoData GmbH

Web services for analytical quality assurance

In General

QuoData has developed a variety of web applications in various projects, e.g. the Q/Hampel Webtool and the GSR QC Analysis Tool. These enable the user to access certain services from any computer. Only an Internet connection and a browser are required for use.

Here you can find a selection of web applications developed by QuoData GmbH.

Q/Hampel webtool

GSR QC Analysis Tool

Web service for determination of uncertainty of results for assessment in accordance with Federal Soil Protection and Contaminated Sites Ordinance (Bundes-Bodenschutz- und Altlastenverordnung)

The web application automatically determines whether the test result and its uncertainty is within the limit as set by the Federal Federal Soil Protection and Contaminated Sites Ordinance (BBodSchV) or whether the test result does not permit a clear evaluation. The results are provided in tabular and graphical form.

As part of its work for the German Federal Environment Agency's (FBU) Advisory Council on Soil Investigations, QuoData has developed the concept for the statistically-sound determination of the uncertainty of results on which the web application is based.

The evaluations of the web application can be used, among other things, for the preparation of expert opinions.

PCR Tool

Validation of qualitative PCR methods within a single laboratory.

This web service calculates the POD curve and the limit of detection LOD95%, i.e. the number of copies of the target DNA sequence required to ensure a 95 % probability of detection.

The model is closely related to the relative limit of detection approach as described in ISO Standard 16140-2:2014 as well as in Uhlig et al. (2014).

It is recommended to consider 6 dilution levels (e.g. 0.1, 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20 copies per 5 µL) and 12 PCR replicates per dilution level in order to obtain a statistically reliable POD curve from which the LOD95% is derived.
